Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert, born on January 27, 1970 is an American journalist for the broadcast media who was formerly a government official. She was the spokesperson for the United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She was a senior associate of the Hudson Institute. It is a think tank that is conservative.
Prior to joining the Department of State, Nauert was a Fox News reporter and news presenter for Fox & Friends. Nauert also served as acting Secretary of State for Foreign Public Relations and Diplomacy during the Trump government, from March to October 2018. Nauert was appointed by Trump to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board as well as the White House Commission on White House Fellowships in the year 2019.
